Find out about the new tech and gadgets primed for launch in the next twelve months. We think the following five products are set to raise the roof before the end of the year.

1. Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S3 will be launched on May 3 at Earls Court, London. The Galaxy S 3 (which we've also seen referred to as the Galaxy SIII) could have a quad core processor and 12 megapixel camera

2. BlackBerry London

The Blackberry superphone is rumoured to launch at BlackBerry World in May, images of the BB 10 OS-powered handset have been leaking for months. Expect a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM 16GB storage, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, placing it within shooting distance of the competition.

3. Nintendo Wii U

Nintendo is also going to launch the next version of its gaming console called Wii U. Wii U will support 1080p HD graphics, SD cards for memory, and 4 USB ports for accessories. For more information about the WII U read our previous article >>

4. Windows 8

This next version of Windows would boast some amazing new features, like an all new user interface (UI), Windows App Store and improvised security features. It would have a simple yet interactive UI called the “Metro-style” design, which would display the most important information and gives you full control over it. Microsoft has launched a Developer Preview of the Windows 8, that is presently in pre-beta version. You can download it from the official Windows site for free. 5. Playstation 4

With the PlayStation 4 release date recently rumoured as an E3 2012 possibility, a new concept design of the mooted console has been revealed outing the device’s possible form factor. Beyond that, everything is just speculation. However, you can bet Sony will do its best to make sure its console can last another six years or so like the current PlayStation 3.
